Starter pack for a 4-cylinder piston soak
Three sealed 444 ml cans of Berryman B-12 Chemtool (part #0116). This is the usual first order for a 4-cylinder petrol engine: about 30–60 ml per cylinder is one pass, so three bottles cover a cautious soak plus a little spare for a tank dose or a top-up.
It is the right pack if you are testing piston soak for oil consumption from stuck rings and do not yet need a second 24–48 hour cycle. Inline-6, V6 and V8 engines typically need the 6-pack or 12-pack instead.
How to use it
Remove the spark plugs on a warm petrol engine, pour B-12 into each cylinder, soak 12–24 hours, extract the fluid, then change oil and filter. Step-by-step: piston soak guide. Confirm quantity with the shop dosage calculator.
